It is my desire to create a positive learning environment where students will have their educational needs met. This
environment would allow for individual differences by building on students strengths while minimizing their weaknesses. Students
will be encouraged to reach their fullest potential through careful attention to learning styles and problem solving skills.
High expectations will be maintained for student achievement with emphasis on instilling the desire for life long learning
in all students.
I have eight years teaching experience in public schools and additional years teaching adults in a business setting.
My bachelor’s degree is in interdisciplinary studies with emphasis in elementary education. I have experience in both
elementary, middle and secondary schools in rural, suburban and urban settings. I taught adults in a business setting while
I took time off from public education for family needs. As an educator, I am challenged to be creative, innovative and most
of all patient.
While working in the insurance industy as a trainer, a passion for, and knowledge of desktop publishing created an opportunity
for me to author and publish the Q&E Tips Newsletter, a monthly newsletter designed to be used as a training tool for claims
analysts. With the creation of this newsletter, I was able to develop a method of on-line training to decrease the amount
of time claims analysts spent off production.
It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher.
One who will make a positive contribution to each students education. I will attempt to add information to this web site
that will benefit my studetns.
